I am thoroughly convinced that life sucks.

I just wish for a genie and I'll make him grant me one wish - that is to make me happy once more. Even for 10 days. I just want to feel that thing they call happiness once again. I want to smile. To laugh... :(

It's hard to be the loser of the year. :(

Double Whammy.

Tumawag nga pala yung Rendition Digital, kung san nalate ako sa interview kasi nalate ako. Meron daw akong technical exam sa Thurday. Yung SPL naman nag text, pasado daw ako ng test pero dahil nag test na daw ako dati, unconsidered na daw ako. Duh, pinagtest nila ako ulit, tapos di kukunin? Wierd... Putsa, shempre, ano pa ba nangyayaring maganda sakin ngayon?

Hay, pucha. What's new ba? Tapos may sakit pa ko. Grabe, alam niyo, para akong si Bruce Willis eh, unbreakable, di nag kakasakit,pero ngayon lang talaga ako nagkasakit ng matindi. Sana madeads na ko para wala na tong lahat ng mga problema. Shet.

SONA!

I am GMA, look at my mole. Wait, does the gown's color match my eyes?

Um, my tita Gloria had her State of the Nation Address where it pre-empted my usual afternoon viewing so I watched it. When I was younger (and a believer that Philippine's will change) I have watched previous SONAs so I am pretty familliar with the mechanics there.

Well, GMA's SONA is pretty the same old promises and the same old tired pep talks. What's new? The demographics of the call center business in the country. She said that she "had" a conversation with a local call center agent and she was "touched" of her sentiments. Well, it was like that impossible story of a young kid placed a paper boat and let it get carried away by the pasig river's current and amazingly, Mrs. Arroyo got it and voila, she granted the boy's wish.

Anyways, GMA is now confident that she will finish her term and had thrown few jokes here and there about the opposition. Everyone clapped their hands after each and every remark. Well, Mrs. Arroyo's speech is the same old shit but at least she has plans of improving this country.

The rain somehow did not stopped protesters (half of which are kids and fathers who were paid by the opposition to do this agenda) to walk outside the Batasan. Of course, their pleads will fall on deaf ears. We have a midget for a president and deaf bastards for presidential aides, so, what do you expect?

Maybe if they listen closely, something will happen. I've told this once and I will tell this again - If you do not stand together, you will not make it. My voice is pretty small as it is and will not have an effect whatsoever on the present community. But what if I passed this insights to other who has the same bidding, maybe, someday, we will be able to stand as one. And in that time, maybe the president's SONA will be able to bring good news. Not just promises that are meant to be broken. And believe me, it will be broken.

Start a new career.
Sometimes, there is no race to be won, only a
price to be paid for some of life's more hasty
decisions.

To terminate your loneliness, reach out to the
homeless.
To feed your nurturing instincts, care for the
needy.
To fulfill your parenting fantasies, get a puppy.
Don't bring another life into this world for all the
wrong reasons.

To make yourself happy, pursue your passions &
be the best of what you can be.
Simplify your life. Take away the clutter.
Get rid of destructive elements: abusive friends,
nasty habits, and
dangerous liaisons.
Don't abandon your responsibilities but don't
overdose on duty.

Don't live life recklessly without thought and
feeling for your family.
Be true to yourself.
Don't commit when you are not ready.
Don't keep others waiting needlessly.

Go on that trip. Don't postpone it.
Say those words. Don't let the moment pass.
Do what you have to, even at society's scorn.

Write poetry.
Love Deeply.
Walk barefoot.
Dance with wild abandon.
Cry at the movies.

Take care of yourself. Don't wait for someone to
take care of you.
You light up your life.
You drive yourself to your destination.
No one completes you - except YOU.

It isn't true that life does not get easier with age.
It only gets more challenging.
Don't be afraid. Don't lose your capacity to love.
Pursue your passions.

Live your dreams.
Don't lose faith in God.
