Are you willing to be away for 5 years?

I had my interview on Micom a while ago. The first thing Mr. Mel told me was if I am willing to be away for training in Tokyo for 5 years. He said that the first thing that they look at in interviewees is if they are willing to be away for 5 years. That inquiry was like a huge blow in the back of the head for me. I was caught with my pants down and I did not know what to say. The scholars they get is really only a handful and the ones who are willing to take that risk.

Di ako makatulog. Iniisip ko pa rin yung sa Micom at yung interview ko bukas sa ITS international. Bat ba kasi lahat nang magagandang company eh nasa Quezon city. Alam nio ba, astig ung UP Technopark, pucha andun din yung JAVA Training something ng SUN Microsystem. Wala lang. Di ko alam kung pupunta ako sa ITS, big time company din daw yun sabi sakin ng aking kaibigan. Pero ang layo eh, yari ako don. Sa libis amp. Ano kaya?
