All in a day's work.

I was totally screwed yesterday when I took a longer break than usual. Bosses were furious and my phone working non-stop (I didn't bring my phone with me so I was completely oblivious). The boss called me once, but there were numerous texts from my teammates telling me to come back already, wherever the hell pithole I am in. The time really just slipped off my mind (and I was waiting for my build to be finished).

When I got back, I can feel the electricity in the atmosphere. I can feel the awkwardness around.
My boss confronted me and I've read mails which tells the bosses were disappointed and stuff. What a disaster. I just did what I can to remedy the problems.

Anyway, the problem was halfway fixed when the people on Minsk came in. They had a share of mistakes too so that didn't make the problem solely my responsibility. At 3, there were pizzas all around. I didn't grab one since I am kept on a short leash, so to say. But my Irish boss grabbed a whole box and brought it on our cubicle. Na-tats kami. Hehe.

I stayed at the office for more than 12 hours. I did't leave until everything is OK. A Minsk dude told me that I should go home already and he asked the superiors if he can let the Manila dudes to go home since it's already late in PH. To tie the loose ends, I told him that I won't go home until it's clean. Eventually, there was another error in the build that's not related to our error in Manila. I waited for another build to finish (which takes around an hour and a half) just to make sure.

Inevitably, seems like there's no way I can fix this (or wait for another hour or so). So I packed my things and went home.
