Hectic

Weekend has been hectic. I think I’ve just spent like 3 hours at home since Friday. I didn’t make it to a friend’s boyfriend’s party since I got a lot going on the office that day since I have to be at Makati early next day. So I just spent the night at LKG (with a few RDU folks) and drank a couple of beers there before I went home. You know, just to pass the time.

The next morning I went to Makati, did a few errands there and went to get Aragon so he can buy his DVD writer in Greenhills (I also have to buy a gift for baby Rica since it’s her first birthday). He wasted more than a thousand bucks for this writer since he wants to watch all the porn he accumulated over the years that were burned in their respective DVDs. Now, I am pushing myself to comprehend that but it’s still beyond me.

Anyway, after Greenhills I went home to test my newly bought Too Human which I will review later if I am so inclined. After like a couple of minutes, Cloz texted me if I wanted to go to the Eraserheads reunion concert. I was a little hesitant because I have to be in North EDSA the next morning to attend my goddaughter’s first birthday, but I still went with Cloz.

We arrived at the Fort (Man, I miss this place, it has changed a lot since the days I was working at Net One) and we can hear Eraserheads songs splitting the sky. There were lots of people who will FREELOAD like us. Parking is pretty impossible near the venue so we parked at Market! Market! And walked all the way to the concert venue.

We arrived at the concert venue to find out that it was cut short since Ely’s brought to the hospital or something. So what we went there for was in vain. Oh well… but there were lots of celebrities there. Haha, Aragon and Vargas was like children at Christmas eve when KC Conception walked past us and Aragon said “Hi” and KC “Hi”-ed back. Lols.

We saw Abaya and Kat Alano, Francine Prieto, Imago, Michael De Mesa, Danita, the Chicosci guy, and lots more. Anyway, after that we went to Libis to eat. They were planning to drink but I don’t want to since I have to be early the next day. So we went back to Cloz’s and slept. It was 4 I think and I woke up at 7, went back to home and took a bath and went straight to SM North EDSA.

Good thing that MRT is not packed on Sundays so it was a pretty bearable trip. I met up with an officemate with her “daughter” and took them to Rica’s party. Last time when I went to Rica’s baptism, I was a loner and I got no one to talk to when Rico’s out entertaining the guests so he told me to bring a friend. Unfortunately, not everyone I invited went but it was fun anyway. I got to play “dad” to Hannah (the kid) and fed her, bought her gifts; let her play with Barney etc. etc.

After that I went home but I didn’t take the MRT and took the bus instead so I can catch up on sleep. I was so tired that I slept all the way to LRT Buendia. I took the Alabang bus and had my hair cut and went home to sleep so at 6 I can go to the gym. But alas, I woke up at exactly 6 but the rain was disastrous so I just went upstairs and did this blog.

Whew.
