On Benoit.

Benoit's death has stirred a lot of emotions among wrestling fans and the public. This is especially true in the states where they take these wrestling events seriously. I for one, is an average wrestling fan. And Benoit's double homicide-suicide tirade has made an impact on me.

But not an negative impact. I am saddened by the fact that almost everyone in the west who doesn't know Benoit as an athlete or personally, says it's "Roid Rage". You have no right to say that just because of your bad conception of wrestlers. Yeah, they appear to be dozens of madmen that settle arguments in the ring but we all know that this are all acting. They are acting for the fans. For us.

Yeah, the blood they often shed in the ring are fake. The groans they mumble everytime they were supposedly punched were fake, but sometimes, they are really hurt. Some of them were broken for life and some of them even die. It's all because of us fans that look up to them and their passion for the sport.

Now, what if a famouse basketball star does the same? Imagine the impact on your world. Benoit has reasons that we, the fans, didn't have the priviledge to know. But whatever his reasons are, we have no right to judge him by his actions. Who are we to do so? Who are we to judge?

In the end, what he did was wrong. It was wrong in the eyes of the public and in the eyes of God. All we have to do is accept the facts and just give a little respect to a man who once gave everything for the sport and to the fans, only to be taken away by a reason we all don't know.

Autobots, watch the movie!

Watched the Transformers movie this weekend and all I got was a headache. Chaos was everywhere. Hahaha.

Kidding aside, the movie is well made. My only gripe is the robot's appearance. They did not remain faithful to the old school Transformers (especially Megatron).

The story? We heard this one before. Some alien race wanting this certain object that once held, will make them invincible or something. Then some good force will stop them. Of course, on their search for this thing, they will wind up on earth.

All in all, the movie is good except for the cheesy, predictable parts where the boy meets this (shallow) girl and it's all goody-goody-love-love.

Of course, many of us will watch this because of the hype. Hahaha. Next week, Harry Potter will be on theatres, again, because of the hype, everyone will watch this even if they haven't even touched a Potter book before.

Sigh, media.
