Cookies and cream.

Ms. Rosario Sebastian, my officemate, gave me a seemingly harmless piece of sweets and then I took a bite out of what it seems like a cheap white chocolate bar accented with black spots . I gobbled it all up and reckoned that chocolate was pretty nice. Then I casted a glance on the wrapper that housed the bar.

To my astonishment, the wrapper said that the bar was actually a polvoron. (i.e., a filipino sweet made from flour and sugar, placed in refrigirator to harden up. A treat to a poor, weary student, after a long day in school) Yes, it says Cookies and Cream polvoron. Well, I'll be damned. The food created a whirlwind of emotions in my soul. The taste was superb. I could never imagine, ever in my life, that polvoron could be as good as that piece of treasure.

I tried to pinch myself to wake me up from my sweet nightmare. But this is reality. And I have in my mouth the sweetest article ever. Thank God for the brilliant mind that decided that Cookies, cream and polvoron mixed together.

I have to excuse myself and buy myself a Cookies and cream polvoron.
