Business Ethics, Sexual Harassment training and Kota Kinabalu.

I'm almost done with Oracle's mandatory online courses - Business Ethics and Sexual Harassment Training. Other companies hold a simple presentation about this, but Oracle has their own online course regarding them. Now you see how a global company handles things. Pretty cool for me, though I haven't really taken the time to read them because they're so long. Lol.

Anyway, a friend found out that I'm not going to Bali, KL anymore this month. Why? I haven't had the guts to ask for leave given that I'm only 2 weeks in here in Oracle. So I was invited to climb Kota Kinabalu. That's in Malaysia, folks. It will be my first international climb. From what I've read, it's higher than Pulag but it's not that hard and is very tourist friendly. Which is fine by me because if I ever die because of mountain climbing mishap, I want it to be in the Philippines. This climb will be in February, so I guess I have earned some leaves by then.

Also, I will have my second climb with IBM Blue Moutaineers this October. This time at Gulugod. I'm also excited about this one because I've heard so much about it, and I wanted to try it for myself. See if I still had the mountain-climbing-spirits with in me.

As few of you know, I sold my 70-200 lens last month. Well, I've only used it a few times and I don't think it might be useful in my travels. I've brought it once in Palawan, but it was heavy as hell and I can't definitely bring it on climbs. Well, I had fun with it though, I once shot a Drift show, used it to shoot some people surfing and other street stuff. I might get a wide lens, because it's much more appropriate in travels.
