Bigating weekend.

Friday:

Well, we had a plan of going to Laguna to have some bonding bonding swimming bonanza. But that plan was scrapped. The PAL team kick-off (this was supposed to be a swimming party, but it was turned to just an pig-out party because some team-members are too busy to go swimming on friday) was moved to wednesday. The team will fly off to Ireland on Friday morning.

So, I decided to make one for ourselves (Reggie, Jemarie and I) since I was itching to get my body in a pool (Reggie already invited her girlfriend and I invited a friend over too, leaving us with no room to turn back). I decided that we should go to Pansol, LB, again. I've packed my bags (since my first swimming there turned out to be a major disaster - browse previous entries) and I am ready to go. But some complications happened - my friend was suddenly given an errand by her mother to go to Iloilo to hand her father something. (Her mom booked her a ticket without knowledge so she has no way to disagree) She will return on Sunday I think. She was so sorry, and I said, what the hell, let's continue this.

Then Jemarie had a sudden cold. Hahaha... So, it will be down from like, 15, to 5, to 3. Damn. It would be pointless to go swimming with a couple because you will be ultimately be put out of the equation.

Then an officemate from another team, knowing that my plans was scrapped, invited me (since she is not that close with Reggie) to go to Baguio. Yeah, Baguio. So, I thought, what the hell, I've got my bags packed (but, I've got clothes for swimming, not for some hiking in some cold place). Still, Jemarie is still solid in the statement that he cannot go. I really wanted to go there since I've never been there in my life. Yeah, a loser. But when we saw the price of going to and fro there. Hahahah, we backed out.

Ok, the next plan was just to grab a pizza. Yellowcab is just on the other side of Ayala. With just a few minute walk to there. But that plan was scrapped too.

Hahaha, Pareng Rico and Sir Don, suggested that if the team will have plans, don't include me, for it will not come to realization. :) (Btw, Rico is having a son, her wife is 7 weeks preggy i think. He told me to save for my inaanak. Yeah, my first inaanak! So, I call him now by Repa)

Saturday:

TM (tropang mapangarap) invited us to have a little get together at where else, but Cloz's house. The official venue of get togethers and inumans. So, I am here, on Cloz's trusty PC, doing this blog. Everybody is wiped out. Me, I am still alive and kicking at 8 am. I puked all my lasing-ness away. Yeah, it was a cake I tell you. Eew. I've never puked so much my whole 21 years of existence.

Anyways, what's important is the years gone by that we talked about, not the amount of booze you drank, or the flood of puke you created. Ah, the friendships you would know that will last for a lifetime. I really missed TM. Though we are not complete, some were not informed, some were out of the country, we still find time to just gather and talked about the lovely long agos. Sigh, the stories of small beginnings, first heartaches, first everything - it's what all that matters. As I told a friend - Repa, ang mga babae, dadating at aalis yan, iiwanan ka, pero sa huli, tayo tayo pa ring tropa ang magkakasama. Walang iwanan.

I still remember having inuman sessions like this when we were in HS. We were kids back then. Now, we are men. Back then, we talked about games, how to lose virginity, schools, but now, we talk about that funnly little event we call Life.

The moments like this, is what makes you silent for a while, and think about the past. The past that will never be erased in you. A past that if looked back upon, a smile will be etched on your face. Smile that has a reason - the friendships and battles you shared.

Sarap balikan ang HS!!!
