We got a lot of catching up to do.

I grew up practically without a father guiding me in every ordeal. He was never there. He was abroad, supporting our family. Being away from your family is super sad. I can feel his sadness enveloping the air everytime we take him to his flight at the airport. But he got to do what he got to do. Without his sacrifices, we would never stand as a family. We would fall without his support.

My mother basically donned the mother and the father's shoes for almost half my life. Yes, my dad comes home every two years or so, but it's still different growing up without a dad. I remember graduating in elementary and in highschool without him. I remember attending events only with my mother.

Well, that will end. My father's staying for good. At last, we will be complete. That would be good.

Only two more days, until your birthday.
Yesterday was mine.
You’ll be turning five.
I know what it’s like, growing up without your father in your life.
So I pretend, I’m doing all I can.
And I hope someday you’ll find it in your heart.
To understand Why I’m not around.
And forgive me for not being in your life.
I remember waiting For you to come.
Remember waiting for you to call.
Remember waiting there to find nothing at all.
I remember waiting.
For you to come.
Remember waiting for you to call.
Waiting there to find nothing at all.
Maybe someday, you really get to know me.
Not just the letters read to you.
I pray I get the chanceTo make it up to you.
We got a lot of catching up to do.
So I pretend, I’m doing all I can, and hope someday you’ll find it in your heart.
To understand, why I’m not around.
And forgive me for not being in your life.
Forgive me.
I’m so sorry.
I will make it up to you.

It's that day of the week again.

Friday means one thing, and one thing only - Mags! Hehehe. Apparently, Major or whatever he's real name is, threw a birthday blowout and we were like one section there, wasted away. The food was great, especially, the super sisig. Damn, that was tasty.

I had laughs, good conversations and camaraderie that i should have discovered earlier. I got back to playing billiards and i wish i could get my skills back. Hehe, well anyways, i have a pseudo-billiard table at home so i could practice a little more and eventually, kick every ass there is to kick in mags.

Oh, my father is coming home either saturday or sunday. So i'll be in anticipation mode.

In summation, i love fridays.
