Happy new year!

I won't be online for the New year since my connection at home sucks, so I'd post this now. So, new year has come. 2007 flew by so fast. So many changes, lost a few friends, found new ones, been stronger, better. So, I won't say that I'll miss some things from the 2007, I should just welcome 2008 with a fresh book and right on its pages. It's called opportunity and we have to grab it.

Mama, asan ka na?

My mom is in Abu Dhabi with my father. I don't know when she'll return. Well, it's her first time being away from us. Knowing her, I think she's shaking on her proverbial boots, worrying about her children. Nyahaha.

But she e-mailed us. She says that she's doing good there and she can't help but compare Abu Dhabi and Manila. She says that even the arabs knows Tagalog because there are just so many Pinoys out there. You see, my mom and I are not big fans of going to work abroad. Especially me, even if I will be offered the chance, I will still not leave this forsaken country.

Back to my mom, she says that the malls there are packed with pinoys, the taxis are super smelly, she also says that she saw my father's workplace which is super big. That she's still worried for my father because his line of work is still hazardous to health though it is winter there. By the way, my father is always by the field, he surveys the work done on various landscapes and stuff. Well, I do not know too much about that, but there is it to it.

Anyway, I know their doing great and it's really fun without having an adult in the house - no side comments, no ramblings, no rants, no Parents. Wooo! It's fun. I just hope that mom is pregnant when she comes home. I want a baby girl sister. Weee! (Kaya pa kaya ni mama?)
