Soon, i'll be smiling again.
Friday, our last meeting. She'll be leaving tomorrow to pursue the story of her life. I know she can make it, because i've seen her grow from a little bud, to a beautiful young rose. She'll be away for quite a while and it will be the longest time we will be apart.
As i watch her pack, two years of friendship flashed before me. The day we first met, to our first argument... all our firsts. Hoping that continuing the story will be much enjoyable later after months of being apart. Making the best of life, together. Her brother went out, and i took that as a cue that i should be leaving too because i don't want him to see me again. I waited on our favorite spot on the condominum stairs... I will always remember this place, it has been one of the witnesses of our deep friendship.
Our last long talk. Oh, how will i miss these long talks. Talks about everything imaginable. Talks about life and futures to who planted the trees in greenbelt.
I gave her my last letter. How she loves my letters. Now, she has no place to store it because when she comes back, they'll be moving to another place. But she says she will keep it because it was special. I gave her my goodbye and goodluck and a one last hug.
No, it would not be goodbye, but see you later.
"There's a huge possibility." Someone said. Now, i am holding on to it. Now, i am looking forward to it. Patience, they said, is a virtue. Patience, is all i had from the very beginning. Patience made me happy once, and patience will make me happy again.
I will wait.
March 11? Here i come.
