3000!
Whoa, holy crap. My blog hits is 3000 (and counting). Before, in Tabulas (www.tabulas.com/~karuru), I thought I was the only one reading my blog. Then I realized that it was getting like, gazillions of hits per week (through statcouter - www.statcounter.com) So, I jumped ship to Blogger. That's when I decided to keep this site anonymous. Well, not really, I've posted the link in my friendster account. Well, by that way, only people who apparently know me, gets to visit this site.
Okay, enough with my history lessons. So, what happens if my hits are more than 3000? No, nothing really, it just says that my blog is always visited. I thought I was the only one reading this. Well, for the people who made the number 3000 possible - thank you! Thank you for sharing my secrets, my strife, my grief, my beefs and everything in between. Without you... well, nothing really. Nothing changed. But at least, someone reads my mutterings and splatterings.
Anyways, what happened this day. Had a general assembly with the whole RD universe. I did not imagine the employees were so many. Like thousands. Joke. So, I cannot proceed with my tasks because the connection pool is down. So I have to wait for Peter Doyle, my boss in Dublin, to make it happen. So what I did was jumped right next to my next task. That's initiative!
The team also had a meeting with Mr. Escuro. The big guy. And discussed some plans. And I happen to know that I will be evaluated at November something. Yup, now, that's bad. I'm getting another first time jitters folks. I don't know what to do with these kind of things. So, I'll just do things more slowly. Yeah, slowly, I broke the build of Aer Lingus last tuesday. And that's bad. :( - That's because I did a dummy class for the class I was testing because it is abstract and because of that, I cannot cover up some methods when I test it. So, after that, the coverage got high (no not on drugs, my hippie readers) meaning, my dummy class was cool and okay. SO, feeling proud, I checked it in. BUT I forgot to check in the dummy class I did, then I immediately went home (knowing that I did ok). So wednesday came and I got bombarded with fail builds :( In the end, I just cut my dummy class idea and checked in my class (getting less coverage of course)
Bahahahah... Oh, I will also have yet another code review next week. Jeez, I still haven't gotten over my first and here's another? Well, it's actually not my class, it's Peter's but I coded some new stuff. Like, about 30 lines. So, it's like a small code but we still have to review it.
:(
Oh, I also need to brush up on friggin' english! When western people talk to me, I get my tongue tied up. So, more speaking to myself to the mirror this time. And some oration.
Pray for my sorry ass so I could pass my first-ever evaluation.
