The long weekend.

Hi, this is Allan, once again giving out forecast on my life. Haha...

Ok, so here in the PH, we call a holiday that falls on a Saturday or a Sunday, GOD, this keyboard is hard... Ok, I am in Netopia, and their boards are like Typewriters - remember them? Old school typewriters...

Ahem, anyway, it is a long weekend meaning, there's no work today (monday). Let me reiterate the flow of events that transpired starting from Friday. Ok, my officemates decided to go to Antipolo - well, that is after a huge deal of fighting where we should go, once it is final, we went off to Antipolo, to eat, in the raging storm.

We went there and consumed food and some amount of booze, but apparently, we were too stubborn to realize that storms = fog. So, we got stranded for a few hours or so at Antipolo. BTW, HKG goes to Puerto was rescheduled because of the storm.

Friday was a catastrophe, I am wet, and tried. I arrived home at 4 because I had detoured, rerouted and everything a commuter doesn't wish to get himself in.

Saturday! We were supposed to go to a friend's gig in Makati, but because of Mr.Weather, the show got cancelled, which was sad because we were ready to do some skankin' and stuff. Damn you Mr. Weather. Then a college friend, whom I got bad terms with - hi Patty, texted me that we should go to Big Grill to once again eat.

After further delays (we had to bring Trachelle home, we had to wait for the girls to have a hand on some Car so they can go with us on our trip, etc.), our plans of going to Batangas came to fruition, well, that's what I thought, we decided to go to old Tagaytay again instead.

But it was cool, figuratively and physically. The winds were strong but there were no rain. Ah, nature is so good.

Ok, sunday we came back feeling happy and contented, wallets a bit lighter but happy nonetheless. Then on our way home, we met Ms. Buslay, a nasty, evil, boisterous, anyway, you get the idea (To hint, she's the one who let St.Andrew's get contaminated with Mercury, just months ago). Well, she still looks the same, she looked at us admiringly and sadly at the same time. She told us how fast time flew.

Ah, the good old days... I wish I could go back and relive the fun I had.

Pictures? On friendster! :)

Updates:

Sheep, I almost forgot. Sunday, at about 2 am, Rico texted me and his wife delivered the baby - Uhm, I don't know how to say that - Do I say, wife delivered the baby, or given birth? Well, you get the idea - Rico's now a dad and his bad ways are now over... well, I hope.

And what's so good about that? Yours truly is now a friggin' NINONG! Ok, godfather. I don't know if he's bluffing or something but he says that the kid's name is Rica Carla... WTF? How original! Hehe, joking aside, well, I guess I am lucky because it was my first time to have a godchild, old folks says that it's lucky.

Ok, so I have to give her now gifts every birthday and Christmas... which will be a pain considering my own godparents didn't give me much when I was a child! Joke! At least I will not follow their friggin' footsteps! I will see to it that Rica, or whatever Rico's gonna call her, gets gifts! Woo!

I remember Ninang Tita haven't even presented me with ONE gift since I was a child! And she's a neighbor for chrissakes!

Anyway, I am excited to have a child of my own. Hint hint... :)
