Give me the damned tickets!
I just ran into Vargas a while ago at PBCom and he seems like he still hasn't got any wind on the upcoming 3EB concert though I posted it in Friendster and put it up as a status in YM. Good thing I ran into him and I've told him the freeeking good news since he is a big fan as well. He said that he will AWOL this saturday... Well, good for him, an event such as this one is once in freeeeeking lifetime.
Anyway, I was scouring the net on how to score tickets for the upcoming 3EB concert which I know will be held short since it is not a one-band concert but a few local acts will play as well. I'd like to see The Dawn play, but since there are no detailed information on what band will play on a certain stage, I guess it will be, yet again, a workout on the legs, just like every music event we partake in.

Apparently, the Special Oktoberfest Marquee Tickets are sold out. Bad news for us who wanted to see 3EB for minimal petots. So what we have in option is the General Admission Tickets which I know will be the farthest (no pun intended hehe, fans will get this.) from 3EB and the freeeekinly expensive 1.5k petot tickets which will access the Special Viewing Area for the 3EB concert. Again, purchasing that one would be a deadly since I guess 3EB will just play 2 or 3 songs and I don't we have budget for that since some of them has yet to find work. I would get that special ticket but I don't want to watch it alone... ferk. But I guess the guys, like me, will cough up 1.5k to see them live.
There is also a Group Package available which will score you lots of tickets - well, this is good for school field trips. Come on, how can you gather 50+ persons in such a short notice announcement. Well, SMB's mirth amuses me to no end.
Pucha, bukas na to and I still haven't talked to the guys.

i got my tickets the day before the concert, went all the way from makati to the san mig ortigas office after work just to get 'em.
called them first, and asked 2 important questions:
were there vip tickets still available?
how many songs will 3eb play
when the lady on the other end of the line assured me that there were a lot of tickets available and that 3eb would be playing a string of songs, i went for it.
gawd, if not for a friend i wouldn't have known about the concert. it's not well publicized kasi.

The problem is exactly that - It's not publicized. I learned the concert like, 2 days prior and I was busy at the office so I don't have time to go to Ortigas. If I just knew that they'll play a lot of songs, I'd score that 1.5k ticket... even if it means I'm not going to enjoy it with my friends. :( Too bad.
