The Classic
Korean Movies or Shows almost always put a rain scene on their movies with the lead characters running in the rain. AND they're not bothered that they are getting soaked but they are... er, kinikilig.
Then I remembered Sassy Girl where the dude was saying something about how the Koreans were touched by this story where the girl asked the people who will bury her to get the sweater of her love in her burial or something. I've researched about this because I was bothered by the Korean's attachment to rain and I found this link - http://www.pusanweb.com/writings/fiction/index.htm?/writings/fiction/, - it is the short story that touched every Korean according to the Sassy Girl dude.
Anyway, after ten minutes of reading that tiresome passage, I've come to realize that every single Korean media that I've watched contained a scene with rain and piggy back rides. I've realized too that it was like Filipino's liking to movies that will always almost have a dance scene in the middle (in comedy), a conversation between the hero and the antagonist of an action film before they kill each other, or the action hero will jump on top of a waterfall towards his logically impending doom but survives the ordeal and many more.
Yeah, it's like a culture thing. Anyway, this movie is somewhat good and since I've read the synopsis because I thought Dianne's DVD is not working, I know what will happen so I am not that shocked. But if I ever did not read that damn synopsis, I could have been touched. Lol.
